Located in the Southern most region of Central America, bordering Columbia to the South and Cost Rica to the North Panama is horizontally positioned, covers some 78,200km2 and has a population of 3,039,150 divided into nine provinces. The geography of the country is diverse with the Caribbean Sea on one side of the country and the Pacific Ocean on the other. Beachfront, islands, mountains, fertile lowland agricultural plains and rainforests are to be found .
